Who handles your information

Pooria Keivan, operating as Windmill Interior in Amsterdam, is responsible for the personal information used to handle your enquiries and design work. To ask a privacy question or exercise your rights, use the contact form and mark your message “Privacy request”. Only provide the information needed for your request.

Information and purposes

When you enquire, I receive the details you provide, such as your name, email or phone number, project location, budget, message and optional reference files. I use them to respond, arrange a requested introductory call, prepare a proposal and, if you become a client, deliver the agreed service. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or photos of other people without their permission.

For Instagram or Facebook lead forms, Windmill Interior receives the contact details and answers you submit through Meta. These are used to follow up on your request and discuss suitable paid services. A request does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Handling a service enquiry and delivering agreed work is based on taking steps at your request before a contract or performing that contract. Legal recordkeeping is based on legal obligations. Essential security and necessary administration may rely on legitimate interests. Optional website analytics relies on your consent.

Service providers

The website is hosted by Netlify, which processes website forms. Form notifications are delivered through email. Meta processes information when you use its apps or lead forms under its own privacy policy, and makes submitted lead information available to Windmill Interior. Google Analytics is used only after you accept optional analytics. Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area under their applicable transfer arrangements. Their privacy information describes those arrangements: Netlify, Google, and Meta. Personal details are not sold.

Keeping information

Enquiry information is kept for the period needed to answer and follow up on the request, then reviewed for deletion when no longer needed. Client records may be kept longer to deliver the service, handle questions or claims and meet applicable accounting and legal obligations. You can ask about the retention period for your records or request deletion; some records may need to be retained for legal reasons.

Cookies and analytics

The site stores your cookie choice in your browser. Google Analytics (G-CEG8DZPHWW) loads only when you accept analytics. It can measure page visits, device/browser information and successful enquiry events; form contents are not deliberately sent as analytics event data. You can withdraw analytics consent using the button below. This applies to future collection and does not erase information already collected. External images and embedded maps may connect to their providers when viewed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent. I may need to verify your identity before responding. You can also complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. No automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects is used to decide whether to provide design services.
